Do you have a stream that can be used to generate electricity? The first step is a Viability Report. The first Viability Report is FREE. The Viability Report is a desk survey which uses an Ordnance Survey map and stream flow modelling software to determine the potential power in the stream. You will need to mark on a map the area covered by the proposed scheme, where the stream or river enters and leave your land, and the location of the existing electricity supply. We will then be able to use local rainfall data and mapping software to evaluate whether there is potential for a micro-hydro scheme at your chosen location. We aim to get the Viability Report back to you within two weeks.

If the Viability Report indicates there is potential for a scheme then a detailed Feasibility Report would then need to be completed for the project to proceed.
To get your free Viability Report email us at firstname.lastname@example.org (or call on 07969 137719) and we will tell you the information we need to complete the report.
For large landowners and estates we can undertake an Area Study (evaluating up to 30 viability reports to create an audit of the microhydro potential across the estate). Contact email@example.com to discuss the costs and options for an Area Study.
